What’s up, y’all? My name is Jonathan Shimizu. Um, welcome to Dorm Tours. We’re here at Cal State Fullerton. I’m a fourth-year Bachelor of Arts Theater major, and welcome to my pad. So here’s the kitchen right here. Um, four of us, four of us are in here, and we don’t do too much cooking, ’cause, uh, there’s a Titan Dining Hall.
But, you know, I cooked up some hot dogs, I’ve cooked up some, uh, pancakes on the stove, you know, pretty good. Um, and it’s also a four-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment here at Oak. And in the living room you can see some of my roommate’s drawings. We’re art majors, so some, um, charcoal. This is some of his homework.
And this living room is really nice just to hang out, and we always invite friends over. We play card games. We just, we have a good time. And what I really enjoy is this patio out here, and I love just having a open area just to relax from schoolwork. And, um, there’s also a beautiful arboretum. It’s called the Cal State Fullerton Arboretum, really nice nature, a lot of ponds.
It’s awesome. So, hey, let’s check out my room. And on the way to my room, here’s some of the bathrooms. Nice shower. Even got the chair right there to sit down And here personally is my own bathroom, um, right next to my room, so it’s nice. Nice shower, nice sink, all the bathroom supplies. And hey, welcome to my room.
So the first thing, the most important thing, is my skateboard. My skateboard is essential, and I just love skating around campus. I’ve met a lot of, uh, skateboard friends around. I made a CSUF skate club with my friends, so really, really helpful with going around. Um, you already know, I gotta keep the TV, keep the TV in here.
Sometimes I play games, but mostly just watch skate videos with my friends, and I try to invite them over. Um, here’s the desk I like to study at when I’m not in the library. I really like this desk, and I probably spend most of the time just doing my schoolwork here. And of course, if I’m doing schoolwork, I need the, all the things I like.
Um, yeah, the One Piece. We got Domo right here, and we got some manga. Um, I have some of my favorite movie posters, Sopranos. And then I love Godzilla. I grew up watching it with my brother, so I have to have that in the room. Um, here’s my bed. It’s pretty nice. It’s really comfortable. I love it. Keep the two pillows here.
And it’s a nice closet right here, too. I don’t have too much clothes in it right now, ’cause they’re in the drawer, but it’s always good just to have clothes ready to start the day. And yeah, take this board with me. Here’s m- and these are my other four roommates, or three roommates, and they’re in here But yeah, thank you so much for, um, thank you so much for cruising the pad and, um, I’ll catch you guys later.
