Everybody, welcome to Campus Eats. I’m Journey New with Collin College, and we’re here at Hutchins. And today, I wanted to show you one of the number one things you should eat when you come to Collin College, and that is the Texas Twinkie. What’s a Texas Twinkie, you might ask? Well, it’s a jalapeno which they soak in water for two to three minutes so that it doesn’t have as much as a kick, and it’s enjoyable for everyone.
And then they stuff it with brisket and cream cheese and wrap it with thick-cut bacon and sprinkle it with coarse black pepper and then put it in the smoker at 200 Fahrenheit for three to five hours. And then after that, they move it to the grill and grill it for another two to three minutes. Once they serve it, they drizzle it with the, um, sauce.
And then after that, it’s ready to eat. And in fact, everybody thinks they were the first one to come up with the Texas Twinkie. But in fact, nobody knows. So
