Cougar Gold Cheese (with Kairis)

Dorm Tour #0 from Washington State University - Pullman

And if you look over here, wondering why they’re in our cans, um, so back in the day during the World War, we would send off some cheese to our troops, and to keep it fresh, we put it into cans…

Hi, everyone. Welcome to Campus Eats. My name is Kyris, a student here at Washington State University, and I’m here to tell you the number one thing to eat when you visit WSU Pullman is Cougar Gold cheese. What makes it so amazing is that all the pieces to create this Cougar Gold cheese are from the students, from the cows, taking care of the cows, to the factories, all students.

And even behind the counter selling these products is all students. And if you look over here, wondering why they’re in our cans, um, so back in the day, during the World War, we would send off some cheese to our troops, and to keep it fresh, we put it in the cans. And, you know, we still do that to this day to, you know, pay tribute to that.

Um, and also speaking of cheese, we have obviously a different variety of flavors here. We have Crimson Fire, Viking, Natural Cheddar, and so much more, but the one thing that you do have to get is this Cougar Gold cheese. So delicious.
