This is actually my room. So the great thing about the University of Texas at El Paso is every room is like a little suite, so obviously bed provided, a twin, but it’s fine. I’m 4’11”, that’s why I have a little stool to get up here…
Welcome to dorm tours. Come on in. Hi, I’m Michelle, and this is the University of Texas at El Paso. I’m a second year here at this college, and obviously, I’m part of the cheer team. So I wanna give you guys a quick little tour of my dorm. Uh, as you can see here, here at UTEP, we have, uh, apartment-style dormitories.
So it’s not like your regular dorms that you see in movies, you think of college. No, this is, like, luxury-type living. So we have this lovely couch the, the university provided, this table, this dining set. Everything you see here furniture-wise is provided by the university. Um, so this is my living room. If you follow me over here, this is my kitchen.
As you can see, it’s a full kitchen with a fridge, a stove, microwave. Everything’s great. So I actually do have a roommate. She’s awesome. But this is my side. As you can see, I love pink . And this is her side. She likes her little snacks out. Uh, if you follow me this way, this is our sinks. Her side, my side, obviously.
And we do have a full bathroom, shower, toilet, the works. And yeah, so if you follow me this way, this is actually my room. Uh, so it feels amazing. This feels big. Uh, my decorations here, as you can tell, I love pink, but I do have my little manifestation board up here. Some good vibes, some good energy going into school, exams, anything I need. I have some decorations up here from when it was my boyfriend’s birthday. We celebrated.
I wanted to do something special. Uh, this is my desk. I do my homework, exams, makeup, the best part of my day, and I do have my little vanity mirror that I got online. Um, obviously right here, you can’t get ready without music. This is my little speaker. It’s a little radio. Um, I have my Stanley, which I try to drink water every day.
Uh, I have my essentials right here. Ariana Grande perfume, lip gloss. I’ll be totally fine if I have those two. Uh, if you follow me this way, I do have my full length mirror that actually opens up. It’s a jewelry box, so that’s fun. I have my pom-poms for games. This is my closet, kinda messy right now, but I have my purses, my uniforms, outfits, shoes, the works.
Uh, this is my friendship board. I have my friends, uh, Taylor Swift, I’m a big Swiftie. Uh, anything that I need some positive energy, Harry Styles, Kendall Jenner. These are my best friends from cheer that I love so much. We call each other The Honeys. Uh, love them. These are my high school friends. Uh, some cherry disco balls.
I just love good energy, good vibes. So yeah, that’s everything I need. One quick tip that I have for any incoming freshman, any, uh, future Miners, is, and actually any freshman for college, is to bring a vanity mirror. This has saved me every single day of my life. That’s how I get looking good every day, ready to go to class, ready to go to games, ready to go to school functions.
