Hey, there, welcome to Dorm Tours! My name is Sam.
And I’m Nadine.
And we live in Donner Hall, from Hanover College, and we’re gonna show you a little tour…
There’s about 120 residents in this hall, so let’s take you to our dorm!
The bathrooms are actually communal here, but it’s really easy to get used to. We can give you a little showing of it. It’s… they clean it very regularly and they’re really nice. They’re just renovated. There’s a big bathroom and it’s actually wheelchair-accessible and then they have three smaller stalls, and they have four showers, so…
So next we’re going to take you to our dorm, we are at the very end of the hallway, which we are very blessed because we actually get two windows instead of one, unlike most dorms here.
And every dorm is accessible through a key. You get your very own key here at Hanover, and it’s really easy to get in and out of your dorm, keep your privacy.
And then when you come in, we have a rug so that we can keep it personalized.
And then you get a desk whenever you come to Hanover College. It has three nice drawers here and it has a little keyboard desk, I’ll show ya, so you can keep all your pens and markers in here. And it does come with a little light up here, but it’s a little harsh for me sometimes, so I just use these whenever I’m getting ready in the mornings.
So also what we have is, we get a nice, cute dresser here. It has three drawers and you store your, like your clothes… in my top drawer, I just have a bunch of snacks here. Another cool thing that we added is a snack bar-type, top type of thing. So that’s why we just have anything to grab and go.
And another cool thing that we have in our dorm is a really cool icemaker, and I highly recommend one of them because it is very nice, just get ice on the go whenever you need it.

We have this, it’s called a “micro freeze”. It was only $50 and you get it with the microwave and the fridge, which is really nice because it’s all one plug, so then you can have more appliances than just this one. And then we also have our Brita, which, thanks to Nadine, she brought for us and we can keep our water super filtered and healthy for us.
And then I wanted to show an example of what a closet looks like here at Hanover. It’s actually really spacious, and I have this little rollie-cart which is really nice to have more storage in here. And then these little bins for extra.
