Fisher Suites (with Benton Raymer)

Dorm Tour #2 from The University of Tulsa

Hi, my name is Benton Raymer. I’m a freshman here at The University of Tulsa. Come tour Fisher Suites with me!

So, as the name Fisher Suites implies, all of the units here in Fisher are suite-style living, which means when you enter into a unit here, you’ll be in your living room, which comes-pre furnished with a couch, two chairs, an ottoman and two side tables. You’ll share this with two or three other suite-mates, depending on which option you pick. You’ll also have a bathroom with a shower, a toilet and two sinks.

Here’s my room here in Fisher. You’ll notice it’s pretty big. You do have two different options in Fisher: Single or an Economy Single. They are just different sizes. But no matter where you live in Fisher, you will have a room all to yourself.

It comes pre-furnished with a full XL-sized bed, so bigger than you typically have in a college dorm, a side table, these two tall standing closets, a desk, this drawer unit. And one thing that’s really nice is that it comes with your microwave and fridge already, so you don’t have to worry about buying that.

When laying out my room, I wanted to take advantage of the amount of space we had, but keep it simple. So I kind of divided it into three main areas: sleeping or relaxing area, a work area with computers and stuff, and then a more chill area in this corner with a couch and a TV.

So you have some nice amenities throughout Fisher Suites. On the second floor, you have access to Pat Case Dining Hall without even leaving the building. And so that is the main dining hall at TU. You also have a lounge on every floor, such as a TV lounge, a study lounge. And then on the first floor, we have a full-sized kitchen.

Thank you so much for touring The University of Tulsa, Fisher Suites with me today and I hope to see you here soon at TU. Reign ‘Cane!
