Coffee with the President with Dr. Arthur Keiser
Segment #7 from Keiser University
Transcript
Welcome everyone to Coffee With The President. We’re here at Keiser University. How exciting, and it is my absolute honor to be here with Co-founder and Chancellor of Keiser University, Dr. Keiser himself. Thank you for taking some time. Oh. You have no idea how busy this gentleman is and how many places he needs to be, so the fact that you’re taking a little bit of time- My honor
I appreciate it. No, no, this is my honor. 50 years of this just steady growth here. Can you talk about that? What we do at Keiser University is we spend the time with each student to give them the, uh, individual attention that they need. The whole concept of faculty-student engagement is the centerpiece of everything that we do, and that’s why we’ve grown, and that’s why our students love to be here and, uh, wanna continue to grow and learn with us.
It, it, it’s an investment, and we believe that students coming to Keiser University will get a good return on their investment. Yeah. Amen. I mean, we’re here right now at the West Palm campus, you know, but there’s many campuses across the state of Florida, around the country, and, and, and around the world, right?
Let me unpack all that, ’cause how exciting. Well, we have here, even at this campus, students from, I think, 48 different countries that are coming here and, uh, enjoying the American educational system, and no better place than West Palm Beach, which is safe, phenomenal environment, and phenomenal weather.
We’re also in Fort Lauderdale and Miami- Yeah, yeah … but that’s okay. I w- uh- We’re splitting hairs now. Yeah. I, I gotta ask you, like, what keeps you motivated right now? When you see the students graduate and walk across the, uh, stage, there’s nothing better. Uh, nothing more important than to see those students, you know, come and say thank you.
And every one, you know, hundreds will go by, and everyone says thank you, and that, that, that makes it all worthwhile. One of the challenges that, that, that I face, and we face, is world’s changing so quickly in a world of AI. Hopefully, we won’t change too much. We will still be that student-faculty engagement is the primary model for our education.
For a parent to know that they come to a place where the people care. Our classes are small. Our largest class is 26 students, and then we split it in half. That is, they’re not just a number. They, they are a specific person who is important to, to a community of, uh, of educators. I mean, thank you for what you’re doing.
You know- Oh, it’s my pleasure … it’s, it’s, it’s, it’s, it’s amazing to watch. It’s been incredible to just be able to unpack. Thank you for opening the doors to Keiser and allowing us to tell this story, um, with The College Tour, and just, um, thanks for having some coffee. I know you’re busy. Seahawks, yeah.
Seahawks. Go Seahawks. Go Seahawks. All right. We’ll see you next time, everyone.
