Championship Athletics with Lauren

Hi, everyone. During my four years here at Keiser University flagship campus, I’ve learned way more than just how to be a student athlete. I’ve learned how to become a champion. I’ve made countless memories with the best teammates and coaches, including bringing home a national championship title. Being named the NAIA Player of the Year really was a cherry on top for me this whole experience.

I’ve always enjoyed being surrounded by sports, and this is a perfect place for it. In fact, our national championship is just one of many that Keiser University Athletics has won over the years. But the thing I love most about Keiser is how this small school has managed to bring in students from all corners of the world to create a second home to learn and achieve their dreams.

I’ve gotten to meet so many different people from around the world and learn about their cultures. Being a student athlete isn’t easy by any means, but with the help of advisors, professors, and coaches, you can be successful in all aspects of college life. And I’m getting hands-on experience in another passion of mine, exercise and sports science.

My experience here at Keiser has definitely taught me time management. With a full schedule of classes, work, and practice, it’s important to keep up with deadlines and always give 100% in what you’re doing. After graduation, my teammate and I plan on spending the summer playing in Chattanooga, Tennessee for a USL club.

Once that season is over, my plan is to return to South Florida and start working in the real world. All these opportunities would not be possible without Keiser. I hope to see you on campus soon.
