College of Golf with Deanna
Segment #5 from Keiser University
Transcript
Hi, everyone. Growing up, I always had a huge passion for golf, and I knew I wanted to pursue golf as my career in some way or form. Although my journey didn’t start at Keiser University, I’m so glad I ended up here. Keiser put me on the right path to pursue my dream career. Prior to attending Keiser, I was studying business and not really happy, but then I discovered Keiser and their golf management program.
Once I was able to focus on a field I truly was passionate about, I became more engaged and fulfilled in the classroom. Before long, my life began to come together. I was playing golf on the Keiser team while also studying the sport in the classroom. I felt a purpose and a meaning to my degree. I was confident that I would use the knowledge gained at Keiser University in the real world.
Keiser truly stands at the top, from the professors to the coaches to the relationships I built along the way, each playing a meaningful role in enhancing my experience. Not only did I get a world-class education in my field, I got to be a part of Keiser University’s 2021 NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship team, winning at Rose Creek Golf Club in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Currently, I’m a golf assistant at Trump National Golf Club Jupiter, where I’m able to showcase the skills I learned at Keiser. I continued my education after college by earning my LPGA and PGA Class A memberships. I plan to continue working in the golf industry and grow my passion for the game thanks to Keiser University.
