Adult Learner with Gary
Segment #4 from Keiser University
Transcript
Hey there. After serving 21 years in the US Army Special Operations serving my country, flying airplanes for the airlines, and building businesses, I have a rich set of experiences. I’ve realized I could possibly share those, maybe in the classroom. Keiser University is helping me build a pathway to that goal.
Transitioning into graduate school after a full career wasn’t about starting over, it was about building forward. I needed a program that values and provides real-world experience, not just theory, and that’s where Keiser really stood out. The curriculum is designed for professionals, people who want to apply what they learn immediately, whether in the workplace or their own business ventures.
Along the way, there were people who made a real difference. From admissions to financial aid and the VA department, I’ve connected with incredible mentors, and of course, my instructors have guided me throughout my journey. What I’ve found here is a balance that’s really hard to get, the resources of a large university combined with a close-knit community.
You’re not just a number, you’re part of a network. Keiser is built for people who are serious about their next chapter. Whether you’re advancing your career, transitioning fields, or growing a business, the programs here are practical, focused, and flexible. It’s a place where your experience is respected and where you can immediately turn knowledge into action.
For me, this journey doesn’t stop here. I’ll be pursuing a PhD in business administration in 2026. Keiser University has reinforced that learning never ends, and your experience is your greatest asset. This is truly the place to build what is next. And that’s my story, and thank you for watching.
