Workforce Readiness with Sage
Segment #3 from Keiser University
Transcript
Hey everyone. When it came down to choosing the right university, I wanted a place that would challenge me both academically and athletically. Keiser gave me the opportunity to keep growing, competing, and preparing for my future. As a football player, earning All-American and Player of the Year honors taught me discipline and consistency.
Being part of starting the football program at Keiser was a great opportunity, and something I’ll always take pride in. It wasn’t just about playing, it was about building something from the ground up and setting the standard for what the program would become. The coaching staff taught us what it takes to be successful on the field, and that mindset carried over into everything we did, especially in the classroom.
Academically, Keiser makes it easy to stay on track. The class sizes are small, so you’re not just another number, and the professors are always willing to help so you can truly understand the material. I graduated with my bachelor’s in business finance and went on to earn my MBA, all while being a student athlete, which shows how manageable the balance is at Keiser.
As I transitioned out of college, my degrees played a big role in helping me secure opportunities in the workforce. I now work at the Breakers as an inventory cost control analyst, where I apply what I learn daily. Thanks to Keiser, I was more than ready to take on my first job. Overall, my experience at Keiser shaped me into who I am today, both on and off the field.
It gave me the opportunity to grow, earn two degrees, and build a strong foundation for my future. If you’re looking for a place to compete, succeed academically, and prepare for life after college, Keiser really is a great choice.
