– Thanks, Alex. The LIU Post campus has always been such a huge part of my life since I sang on the main stage at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts when I was young. When it came time to choosing a college, LIU was naturally my first visit and I’m glad to say it was my last. The exceptional reputation of the speech language pathology program drew me in and visiting the campus confirmed that this was the right place for me. There’s so much to love about LIU. It offers the best of both worlds, some of the best beaches in the country, and it’s just a short train ride from New York City that makes it easy to tap into countless job and internship opportunities and LIU’s vast alumni network located on Long Island’s stunning Gold Coast. The campus features historic mansions and over 300 acres of green space. The campus is huge, with eight residence halls and endless opportunities to share a meal at our new dining facilities, hang out with a friend and discover all this beautiful campus offers. One of my favorite spots is the library. I’ve spent so many hours studying in the cafe and working with classmates in the collaboration center. Another highlight is the Campus’s Athletic Stadium. As a member of the championship LIU cheer team, some of my best memories are cheering on the sharks during football season, especially at homecoming. ♪ Let’s go beat them up L-I-U ♪ My time on campus has been filled with incredible experiences, academically, athletically, and personally, like observing and soon treating patients in our on-campus speech and hearing clinic. Hanging out with my friends on the great lawn and winning back to back national championships with my teammates, Long Island University has shaped my journey in so many ways. I’m proud to say that my alma mater and this beautiful campus will always be a part of my story. Back to you, Alex.

– Kamryn, your story is amazing. It’s clear that you’ve fallen in love with the beautiful Post campus and are taking full advantage of everything LIU has to offer and congratulations on those national titles. That is incredible. Thanks for sharing, Kamryn.
