Hey guys, welcome to Dorm Tours. I’m Ashley, I’m a junior here at Earlham College, and welcome to Mills Hall. This is my room that I share with my roommate. You’ll meet her in a second, but we’ve been roommates for three years, and this is all the dorm door stickers we have collected over the years. We love to just put them on the door.
These are our two names smashed together, and we’re graduating in 2026. So it’s just like an odd, uh, nod to us Um, so in Mills, we’re in a double suite, which means that it’s two double rooms connected by a bathroom. So it’s really cool we get to share a bathroom, which is awesome and amazing. Over here we have dressers that come with the room, and we have all our paintings that I have done.
I’m a biochem major and so that’s really cool about Earlham is that even though I’m a biochem major, and it’s really rigorous, I can still have time to do my hobbies, and I love to paint, so I’ve been painting a lot. Over here we have our main living area. We have our two beds and my roommate over here.
Um, we’ve been roommates, you know, she’s from India, I’m from Indiana, and it’s just like, it’s crazy how similar we are even though we’re from, like, completely different corners of the world. Here in our room we have a bunch of different stuff that we’ve collected over the years. We’re massive Taylor Swift fans.
That’s actually how we met. We met on this sort of forum for college students looking for roommates, and so we met through our love of Taylor Swift, which is really awesome and cool. We have our two beds. They can be lofted if you want them to. We have our two desks. We have two massive big closets that are just amazing.
And then we have lights, which if the one thing I would recommend you guys bring to college, it’s lights. I mean, that light up there can really seem like a hospital light at some times. So just having lights to light up the room and make it feel more at home. We also have plants and lots of different decors, and it’s just great to fill up space, ’cause these rooms are pretty big for d- college dorm rooms.

These floors can be kinda cold and hard when you wake up, so having a rug when you jump out of bed is really amazing to have. Um, I think that’s all.
