Segment #2 from Keiser University
Transcript
Hello all. When it was time for me to choose a college, it was extremely important to choose something completely different than what I was used to. Growing up in a smaller town in Michigan surrounded by two-lane roads and farmland, I dreamt of something more. I dreamt of a college experience that pushed me outside of my comfort zone, and that’s exactly what I found when I traded snow for West Palm Beach, Florida.
At Keiser University, I live in year-round sunshine, and life here is the best mix of fun, academics, and responsibility. I even had the chance to step into a leadership role as a resident assistant. Academically, Keiser has made a huge impact on me. My professors genuinely care, and they take the time to build personal connections and help me truly understand the material.
Socially, I feel like I live in paradise. I get to spend my Saturdays doing free yoga downtown, at the green market with friends, relaxing at the beach, and even waking up early to watch baby sea turtles hatch in August, things that I never would have experienced back home. What really sets this campus apart is its energy and sense of belonging.
There’s always opportunities to get involved, meet new people, and experience different cultures, whether it’s on campus or in the community. Now, as I prepare to graduate, I feel confident and ready to take my next steps in marketing and human resources. Keiser hasn’t just given me an education, it’s given me real-world experience, lifelong friendships, and the experience of a lifetime in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Thanks for letting me share my story.
