One of the number one things you should have as a college student in a dorm is a projector. It is so much cheaper than a TV and I can easily just connect my phone or computer and watch anything and it goes to this giant wall so it’s bigger than a TV size.
Hey everyone, welcome to Dorm Tours! My name is Amelia and I am… today we’re going to do a Dorm Tour at Tonopah Complex at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
So we’ll start over here and before I start, I just want to let you all know that I work as a Resident Assistant here at UNLV, so I help build a community within the residence halls and interact with the residents here.
So here, as you can tell, this is my desk. I do a lot of the work, my homework here. And one of the best parts is that have a great view of the Strip. You can see Mandalay Bay, you can see the new Sphere and it’s a great view at night.
And then we come over here. This is my bathroom, it’s very spacious. It’s got a toilet and a full-sized shower and a bunch of space to hang up your towels, and like I said, it’s very spacious.
And then we’ll come over here, we call this the pantry. This is a three-tier shelf that I store all my food, I have another one in the bathroom. I think it’s an essential item to have in any dorm.
And then, over here, as you can tell, this is my bed area. Obviously, this is where I sleep. But if you see the walls, I have lots of music posters. I love going to concerts. I always get a poster every time I go to a concert. I also have signed CD’s, movie posters because I love watching movies.
And, as we move over here in this corner, this is my favorite area. I have a keyboard, I have a guitar. I like to play those sometimes when I got free time.
And I also have another shelf where I have lots of Lego’s, my film cameras and lots of books as well. I love reading poetry books.
And moving over here, you’ll see these two big closets. I love these closets because they’re very spacious, as you can tell. I still have more room and I have lots of clothes.
