From academic advising and tutoring to physical and mental health services and career planning, TJC offers incredible support to help students thrive. – Thanks for the intro, Alex. Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions you can make. For me, TJC was life changing. I had the opportunity to participate in the Early College Program, which allowed me to earn my associate’s degree before I even graduated from high school. I started working at TJC as an admission specialist, and now I’m an academic advisor. I hope students find the same opportunities that shape my journey. We guide students in choosing the right courses, staying on track for graduation, and navigating challenges, but I’m just one part of a team dedicated to student success. At TJC, we offer a variety of free resources designed to support every aspect of a student’s experience. Tutoring services offer free assistance in various subjects and success coaches provide one-on-one mentorship to help students stay motivated, develop good study habits, and manage their time effectively. Our career planning services help students explore career paths and choose a major. Whether you have a clear career goal or still exploring your options, they will help you make informed decisions about your future. TJC also helps students afford college by awarding more than $48 million in financial assistance each year. At TJC, we understand that student success goes beyond the classroom. That’s why we have the Apache Rec Center to support physical and mental wellbeing and our enrollment navigators are just a text away, ready to assist whenever they’re needed. Whether it’s questions about registration or help with submitting documents, the slogan is asked us anything. At TJC, no student has to navigate their journey alone. We’re here to help every step of the way. Free resources are available to remove barriers, provide guidance, and create an environment where every student has opportunity to succeed.
