– Thanks a lot, Alex. Hi, everyone. I’m thrilled to share how TJC shaped my journey. Born and raised in Tyler, my TJC story started in high school with dual credit classes. That early experience helped build my confidence as a first generation college student and set me on the path to where I am today. As a student, my passion for teaching and program development became undeniable. So it wasn’t long after graduation that I found myself right back here at TJC. This time, as an employee. I feel incredibly privileged to work alongside our talented instructors who bring their real world expertise into the classroom, ensuring you develop the essential skills to succeed in high demand industries. TJC’s Workforce Programs are constantly evolving to keep pace with the latest advancements in technology, so you’ll learn by doing and gain the practical experience you can apply immediately. Whether you’re pursuing a skilled trade, like welding or HVAC, or you’re interested in healthcare, criminal justice, culinary arts, or even video game design, TJC offers a hands-on approach that equips you with the skills you need to thrive in your chosen field. As a graduate of TJC’s Workforce Programs, I can tell you the opportunities are endless.
