The Universities at Shady Grove

The Universities at Shady Grove is a regional higher education center of the University System of Maryland, with nine public universities offering an array of undergraduate and graduate degree programs on one campus. Founded in 2000, USG is located in the heart of Montgomery County, in Rockville, Maryland. USG serves more than 3,000 students who are enrolled in the various programs available on the campus. All undergraduate programs at USG are geared toward serving transfer students, with upper-division coursework (junior and senior year) toward bachelor’s degrees.
