Hey, guys. My name’s Kiana Mya, and I am a freshman at the University of Utah. Go UT’s! And I live in the University Guest House, so come along with me for a room tour.
I’m only going to show you guys my side of the room. So this is a little sneak peek of what we’ll be touring. Super cute. Okay, let’s start off right here.
This is my bed. Obviously. The best thing about this dorm by far is we have a queen size bed, is perfect. It’s amazing. I love it. We’re going to walk on over here. You know, we’ve got our lamp, little nightstand, and, of course, the most needed thing in college. A closet. Since we live a little unconventional because this is a converted hotel at the Guest House.
That’s why we have a queen sized bed. We really have to work with a lot of organization. So these baskets down here are, like junk drawers and pantry. It’s very, very organized. So this is what’s going on over here. Right behind me is this amazing, huge window. There’s always people studying outside, which is so fun. Usually we know them, which is super fun again, since it’s super small in here.
Laundry gets put in the corner and that is where it stays. We’re going to come right over here. This is the desk. It’s a really big desk, which is amazing. And this right here is what I call bathroom in a basket. It’s pretty much where everything that is needed in the bathroom goes. Okay. We have some beautiful paintings, pictures, whatever, whatever.
And then this is really fun. All the shoes go in a basket. Okay, we’ve got another window cooking supplies. So, so fun. And then this is my favorite part. This is the kitchen. This is our plates. Utensils and all of those things go. This is our pantry, right? And extra cleaning supplies go down here, which is really fun.
We’ve got a microwave, a mini fridge. Now I’m going to show you inside the mini fridge, because the only thing in there are many Cokes and many Sprites. So I’m keeping that one to myself. This is the bathroom. Hi, again. I’m only gonna show you my side. This is just my little setup. So I got this Lazy Susan.
Best thing for dorm life. This is from Target, you guys. Everybody needs one. Is amazing. And this little tray is from Nordstrom Rack. Super nice. And then right over here, full sized mirror. Oh, my God. This is my roommates clothes. And I’m going to show. I’m going to try my best. I know that got a little bit. And then we’ve got our bathroom as well. My towels get hung here. Roommate’s get hung right behind us. And then, that’s all my section as well.
